Konshin-ji Temple

Sanda
was born and developed as the supply point during the Japanese
Middle Ages near the gates of the Buddhist temple Konshin-ji,
built in the eighth century. |

Former Kuki Family Residence and Resource
Center

This
is one of the few buildings in the country built in mock-Western
style at that time. It was designated an important tangible
cultural property by Hyogo Prefecture in 1998. |

Shingetsu-in
|

Built
by local lord Kuki in 1633. The premises contain the burial
sites for the past local lords and their families. |

Historical Materials Center
|
 |
Opened
in July 1995, the center houses buried cultural properties and
local folk objects. Exhibitions are held several times a year. |

Sanda Tenman Shrine (Tenjin) / Tenjin Park

Rebuilt
in 1545, this was the shrine used by the successive local lords
for worship after 1633. |
